There is no charge for the initial interview in your home. Personal attendant services are available on the schedule you choose for the following hourly fees:
Monday-Friday: $11 per hour Saturday/Sunday and holidays: $12 per hour A minimum of two hours must be scheduled each day that attendant comes to the home.
Attendant services can be arranged on an occasional basis provided an intake interview is scheduled at least one week prior to need. There is a $25 charge for intake.
Through a grant from Travis County and the City of Austin, reduced cost services may be available to persons who qualify for Medicaid and have less than $2,000 in financial resources. The Independent Care Coordinator will discuss this during the home interview. Individuals who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer may qualify for free or low cost services as well.
